Removal Guide

How to Remove

Safely remove your press-on nails in three gentle steps to protect your natural nails.

Never pull or force your nails off.

Doing so can damage your natural nail bed. Always soak first and work gently.

Soak nails in warm soapy water
01

Soak in Warm Soapy Water

Fill a bowl with warm (not hot) water and a few drops of mild soap. Submerge your nails completely and soak for 5–10 minutes to soften and loosen the adhesive.

  • Adding a touch of olive or coconut oil helps soften stubborn adhesive
  • For nail glue application, soak slightly longer — up to 15 minutes
Gently lift press-on from the side
02

Gently Lift the Nail

Using a wooden cuticle stick, gently wedge it under the edge of the press-on. Slowly wiggle from side to side, working your way towards the cuticle. Never force or pull.

  • If the nail resists, soak for another 2–3 minutes
  • Start from the sides, not the tip — it comes off more easily
Clean and moisturize natural nails
03

Clean & Moisturize

Buff away any remaining adhesive residue with a soft nail file. Apply a generous layer of cuticle oil or moisturizer to rehydrate your nails and cuticles.

  • Your press-ons can be saved and reused — clean off the adhesive and store safely
  • Give your natural nails a 24-hour break before reapplying

Reuse Your Aurea Nails

With proper care, your press-ons can be worn multiple times. Store them in their original case, away from direct sunlight, and keep them dust-free for the next wear.
