Removal Guide
How to Remove
Safely remove your press-on nails in three gentle steps to protect your natural nails.
Doing so can damage your natural nail bed. Always soak first and work gently.
Soak in Warm Soapy Water
Fill a bowl with warm (not hot) water and a few drops of mild soap. Submerge your nails completely and soak for 5–10 minutes to soften and loosen the adhesive.
- Adding a touch of olive or coconut oil helps soften stubborn adhesive
- For nail glue application, soak slightly longer — up to 15 minutes
Gently Lift the Nail
Using a wooden cuticle stick, gently wedge it under the edge of the press-on. Slowly wiggle from side to side, working your way towards the cuticle. Never force or pull.
- If the nail resists, soak for another 2–3 minutes
- Start from the sides, not the tip — it comes off more easily
Clean & Moisturize
Buff away any remaining adhesive residue with a soft nail file. Apply a generous layer of cuticle oil or moisturizer to rehydrate your nails and cuticles.
- Your press-ons can be saved and reused — clean off the adhesive and store safely
- Give your natural nails a 24-hour break before reapplying
Reuse Your Aurea Nails
With proper care, your press-ons can be worn multiple times. Store them in their original case, away from direct sunlight, and keep them dust-free for the next wear.
